Our Sunday morning service follows a traditional pattern.
Our primary source of music is our modern digital organ which is utilised to full effect by our organist, John Evans.

We make great use of many of Charles Wesley's wonderful hymns and other
old favourites as well as more modern songs from the recently published Methodist
hymn book "Singing The Faith".

Services not taken by our own minister
are usually led by local 'lay' preachers. These are people from many walks of life who have undertaken study and training
and have passed rigorous exams and assessment before being appointed to these roles. This approach,
which is common in methodist churches in the UK, provides great variety and depth for our Sunday morning services.
We also have regular 'local arrangements' where members of the church lead the service,
normally led by a specially trained worship leader.
|
Holy Communion is regularly incorporated within Sunday Morning service. All are invited to
share at the Lord's table regardless of affiliation to this or any other church.

From time to time, children are welcomed into the church family by Baptism during Sunday morning worship.
Adult baptism is also conducted occasionally.
|
We have a small number of children and young people who join us, some regularly, some occasionally.
On most Sundays, children and young people leave the main service after the second hymn to enjoy their own
activities in the church hall. A creche is available for younger children.
When there is a communion service, children return in time to approach the
communion table with their families and receive a blessing. Occasionally we have all age worship where
children remain in the service throughout.
If you prefer to keep babies and children in the main service you can leave or join the service at any time.

Tea and Coffee are served in the church hall after Sunday morning service, fairtrade of course! Visitors are very welcome to join us.
