Hoole Methodist Church "Let all the World in every corner sing: My God and King!"

Welcome to

Hoole Methodist Church

chapel

A message and prayer from the Minister:

As many of you will be aware by now, in the light of recent government guidance, the Methodist Church has advised that all public worship and church meetings should be suspended for the time being.

We are sorry that this means there will be no services or meetings at Hoole Methodist Church or Hoole United Reformed Church until further notice.

Even if we cannot gather together we are still the church. I will be sending out a 'Worship at Home' sheet that we can use on Sunday mornings. If you would like to receive this and are not already on our email list please let me know. Keep in touch with one another - our pastoral care can continue by phone or email.

May God guide us to find creative ways of being his church in these challenging times.

Rev David Goodwin

A Prayer

God of all hope we call on you today.
We pray for those who are living in fear:
Fear of illness, fear for loved ones, fear of other’s reactions to them.
May your Spirit give us a sense of calmness and peace.

We pray for your church in this time of uncertainty:
For those needing to make decisions in order to care for others;
For those who will feel more isolated by not being able to attend worship.
Grant us your wisdom.

Holy God, we remember that you have promised that
Nothing will separate us from your love –
Demonstrated to us in Jesus Christ.
Help us turn our eyes, hearts and minds to you.

Amen.
